Anant Dwivedi Foundation established in memory of Anant Dwivedi commemorates his life by celebrating 14th of every month as Anant Day. As per mental health experts, the basic elements of identity of a toddler attains shape as early as 3 years of age and continues undergoing transformation. The experiences of initial years leaves a lasting imprint for a lifetime. Orphans & homeless kids are especially prone to mental stress due to their inherent feeling of being abandoned. By engaging them with celebratory activities, mental well-being sessions and sports, ADF moulds young kids to grow as well-rounded individuals. Anant was born on 14th June and ADF celebrates his birth date with the underprivileged kids to spread happiness.
Social relationships affect teens in their schooling years. Anant Dwivedi Foundation (ADF) offers need-based scholarships to eligible students in their early-teens by disbursing financial aid. Economic struggle of teenage parents makes students susceptible to feelings of inferiority that leaves a permanent stain on their character. ADF's scholarship is a critical enabler that allows students to focus on studies by easing pressure around basic necessities and tackling the potential lack of confidence that comes from feelings of inferiority. With this aim in mind, ADF scholarships goes beyond tuition fees in supporting students with school bags, uniform, study materials, books and clothes.
Mental health
crisis is a silent killer in our society today. Unlike physical ailments with clear tell-tale
signs and symptoms, the stress pandemic spreads below the radar until it reflects in tragic form
like anxiety, depression or even violence. ADF mental well-being sessions are aimed at ensuring
holistic mental well-being of the society by targeting teenage college-going students facing
identity crisis. In the late teens, youngsters face anxiety as they transition into adulthood
and independence. ADF workshops help them cope up with mental stress as a result of social
expectations, career challenges and family issues.
Anant Dwivedi Foundation operates a mental health helpline under it's mission Anant goal to ensure that members of the general public have an avenue to reach out when conventional methods at dealing with stress, anxiety and depression fails. The helpline addresses key mental health concerns by providing telephonic counselling and suicide prevention initiatives. ADF has a panel of psychologists, psychiatrists and doctors that offer professional guidance for every caller facing mental stress. The helpline is available 10 hours a day at present and will eventually be operative 24/7.
